The Woodstock Music & Art Fair informally, the Woodstock Festival or simply Woodstock- was a music festival attracting an audience of over 400,000 people scheduled over three days on a dairy farm in New York from August 15th to 17th, 1969 but ultimately ran four days long, ending August 18th, 1969. Billed as “An Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music”, in the midst of the rainy weekend 32 acts were performed outdoors before an audience of more than 400,000 people. For this and so many other reasons, it is considered as a pivotal moment in popular music history as well as the definitive nexus for the larger counterculture generation. The Rolling Stone Magazine had drawn it under it’s “50 Moments That Changed The History OF Rock & Roll”.
Thus, for celebrating the Legacy’s 48th anniversary, The Stable at Andheri East is holding a proper 3 Days of Peace & Music from the August of 17th to 20th.
Keeping in tandem with the occasion, The Stables envisions paying a tribute to the golden decades by presenting a series of well-curated, super-cool and dynamic “3-day” music line-up which includes innovative musical theme each day starring vibrant performers. The 3-day fun and fair will witness retail stalls, entertainment activities, the venue, and backyard will transform into an experience zone.
The Entry is Free, so brag in there to enjoy some Hippie culture with some pints down your system. The session starts at 9.30 PM all three days. To know the Artist & More Details follow their Facebook Event Page Here!
