Vada Pav is a staple snack meal of the Maharashtra but, the food item is more resonated with the city of Mumbai than the State of Maharashtra itself. It could be blamed on the fact, that people of all status majorly from all the corners of the country come to this Metropolitan city with most of the times nothing much but dreams of success or making something out of themselves and the city has never closed the doors a to anyone for that matter. This snack item has so much in it at such cheap price that when people start running low on their pockets and hopes a Vada Pav or two is always there for you to keep going and surviving yet another day.
The city may keep having new Cafes and restaurants every day but, it loves it’s street food as dearly as the lover of theirs and thus, the street food stalls could be dated back to 50-70 years back. Vada Pav is a part of that major chain street food stalls. It says there are over 50,000 small and big stalls serving Vada Pav, but what we believe is the number could be even bigger than that.
