Called Shikara, it’s city’s only-boat themed restaurant that serves Kashmiri cuisine. One of the oldest restaurants in the city, it was established in 1993. There are three sections to choose from – the first being a Shikara or a houseboat, including an air-conditioned one, there are the traditional baithaks and then there are your sofas to lounge on. The decor is Kashmir-inspired and they often host live music sessions to keep the guests entertained.

Housed inside Hotel Highway View, it boasts of an artificial lake and an expansive menu. Imagine gorging on murgh do aab {INR 550}, bhuna gosht {INR 600}, saag gosht and more while you sip on a glass of wine or a cocktail.
