Have A Diverse Group With Varied Food Choices Visit The Bombay Vintage To Have it All At One Place

Bombay’s zesty spirit is too lively to contain, but we have found a place that is able to capture it almost perfectly. Bombay Vintage has reopened in Colaba capturing the dynamic energy of a young Bombay. With amazing food and cosy interiors, it has a lot in store for us.

You will enter to see a vibrant retro-inspired colour palette embellished with custom artworks, paneled surfaces and Irani style chairs. Their menu covers the essence of all the communities in the city. Take a trip down the ‘chaat’ lane and try Tuk Dahi Papdi Chaat, Bombay Corn Bhel and a Gujarati favourite, Surti Sev Khamani.

There’s a section for city’s coastal flavours which will give you gems like prawns koliwada, pepper fish and rice crusted crispy bombil.

The Curry Magic

From light and easy to tart and tangy – you name it and they have it. Their plethora of regional dishes and curries will make for a very satisfying lunch. Try their sargava nu shaak {drumsticks}, mushroom dhansaak and gomantak fish curry. For a taste of the indulgent side of Bombay, pick from bharleli vangi or stuffed brinjal, nalli nihari and a butter chicken tikka masala.

The Amchi Mumbai Menu

Bombay Vintage won’t live up to its name if it doesn’t have the iconic missal pav and pav bhaji on their menu. If you want to experience the city through your pallette, also go for their crab ghee roast with neer dosa, green masala calamari with multigrain vada and Bombay kheema pao.

From The Bar

The cocktails are an ode to various flavours of Bombay. If you are up for classics, go for their Pina Colada with rum, coconut water and pineapple juice or enjoy the refreshingly tarty whisky-based tamarind sour. If you want to try something different, order the spice bazaar gin & tonic, which has gin muddled with pepper, bay leaves, cloves and star anise.

So, take a little trip to the by-lanes of Mumbai with exceptional flavours, a taste of the coast and be indulged with distinctly hearty combinations that give the city its unique edge.
