In the immense amounts of activities that are being encouraged and popularized in the city, one can never say they are short of any activities or hobbies to pick up on. One such thing that has always interested us, but never had a chance or source to access the idea is Pottery, which has come to limelight in recent times, and that makes us immensely happy about it.
In the troupe of various pottery tutors, this one has caught our attention the most, with the scale on which they operate along with the aesthetics and vibes they serve along. The Pottery Lab in Pali Hill in Bandra is the ultimately tomb of creativity. Built in the backyard region of a quaint bungalow the space is managed and organized by Rekha Goyal who sits by her helm being the ceramic artist that she is. The space is also has a dance studio and space for Yoga sessions.
The pottery session is a five-week module which comprises of the basic level gradually moving forward to advanced lessons and is conducted on twice a week basis. The five week module will cost a person INR 10,000.
The other kind of tutoring provided are for sculpting, which is basically a three day workshop that is arrange once every month and will cost you INR 5,000.
One of the most attracting part of Rekha’s pottery classes is the beauty of the space and vibe that invigorates you into the zen of creativity slash pottery. Rekha also has a cabinet space that she calls “The Clay Closet” where you will see pieces made by her- cockery, brain vita, platters and more. The collection starts at INR 650.
