We brought to you a list of cafes where you can tap your feet to Salsa, Lindy Hop, Jive, Bachata and more… Here is a list of cafes that provide with some tutors guiding your feet to steps to variety of dance moves coming with fun and chance of making new friends. 1. SamBar & Pub:-

SamBar organizes their Trippy Latin Nights on every tuesday which starts at 9.30 PM and goes upto 1.30 AM. This is the place for you to dazzle along to some latin groove, the dance forms they focus include Salsa, Jive and Bachata. The vibe is all easy with no dress code or compulsion of partner to tag along you can arrive stag, and mingle along with those on dance floor and start the fun. The class is loed by Rahul Handa and walk-ins are accepted. The best part is all this will cost you nothing, the sessions are for free, so enjoy the socializing and dancing here.

When: Every Tuesday.

Timings: 9.30 PM- 1.30 AM.

2. Shiro:-

If Salsa is what is recking on your mind currently, you must head over to Shiro in Worli, a Asian Cuisine serving restaurant which organizes their Salsa nights on every Wednesday which starts at 10.30 PM onwards. The session is not a strict dance praticing, but easy going social dancing hour which is guided by a professional teacher, so balance your win as you swirl through your Salsa.

When: Wednesdays.

Timings: 10.30 PM onwards.

3. Summerhouse Cafe:-

What better time to Salsa than Sunday, the Summerhouse Cafe in Lower Parel starts their Salsa hours every Sunday on 9.30 PM wards. Here, first you have a class to master the basic techniques, and then post the class, the floor is thrown open to people who want to give it a go. The fee is just INR 200 (inclusive of a Kingfisher Beer), and you gotta shimmy your way in.

When: Sundays.

Timings: 9.30 PM onwards.

4. Cafe Zoe:-

The dance that originated in Harlem, New York has been around in Mumbai for a while now, and you can learn it at Cafe Zoe, Fun Republic, and even at Tonic, generally on Sunday. That’s right, hop your way to Lindy Hop, which begins as a workshop. Here they prepare with simple steps, and techniques, and basically amp up before the chill social afterwards. The workshop is for INR 200.

The fun begins when the floor is opened up to everyone, and everyone can join in to dance, and have a jolly good time. In fact, there’s be advanced dancers on the floor to teach you how to Lindy Hop your way. Sometimes they even have a live band.

When: Twice a month {Sundays} at Cafe Zoe, first Sunday of the month at Fun Republic Social, and once a month at Tonic

5. Glocal Junction:-

Glocal in Worli is transformed into a dance space every Tuesday, along with their ladies night. Here, you can join in for the Latin dance workshop by DanceSport (founded by Rajeshwari & Shannon). There are free drinks as you get to learn Latin dancing by instructors and sway to the music.
