There are mainstream things that holds common interests of majority, then there sound things that are rare but exist, not all seek for it, but some do, and for those who are seeking, there needs to be the source of provision. And some others might just join at the mention of it’s existence. The Iran Culture House is one such thing.
Not a lot of people are aware of the fact that cultural and political relations between Iran and India date back to the prehistoric era. Similarly, not many are aware that there’s a cultural house located at Marine Drive that imparts knowledge about the same. Iran Culture House is a haven for Persian enthusiasts, it not only holds language classes but also conducts weekly cultural meetings to discuss the history of cultural civilization and Iranian art. Oh, and recently, Children of Heaven, directed by the famous Oscar-nominated filmmaker Majid Majidi was screened at the cultural house.
