Last week we shared with you the soon arrival of St+art India in our city to paint random walls and beautify the city alongside bringing in the character of it. Now while this is being organized and accomplished by the professional level people, there is another campaign that’s bringing together volunteers from within the city who enjoy art and painting and would like to consider their city as the canvas and paint it as they desire alongside spreading inspirational and substantial messages to the citizens.
City As A Canvas is a lovely community art project that is looking to beautify the walls and streets of Mumbai. The event is organized by iVolunteer & Daan Utsav the project will take off during the “Joy Of Giving Week” that is from October 2nd until October 8th. In the vast city of Mumbai, you need more than just a bunch of people to get out and start painting the city. Another idea behind the campaign is to spread awareness of art, and paint out inspiring and motivational messages on the walls.
The campaign is not throwing any restrictions towards the kind of applications that are willing to come forward and welcoming everyone with open arms, only the kids who fall under the age of 13 are required to come along with their parents so as for their safety apart from that you could 10 or 70, everyone is appreciated for their enthusiasm.
iVolunteer is currently also looking for a lead volunteer, along with regular voluneers. Painting a wall, or a station will take at least a day and a half so schedule your plans accordingly while registering.
